Kim Mattoon

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Kim is a commercially-oriented senior executive with more than 30 years of experience generating shareholder value for leading companies. She is known for her ability to build and transform teams, businesses, and financial operations to create strong platforms for growth. Under her leadership, enterprises achieve lasting, positive change that paves the way to long-term excellence. 

A problem solver and forger of strategic alignment and cross-functional partnerships, Kim has served as served as CFO at numerous private-equity backed companies including Kano Laboratories, Hollander Sleep Products, Gibson Brands, and Peter Millar.  While at these companies, her accomplishments included compelling growth in EBITDA, add-on or transformative acquisitions, implementation of new ERP systems, highly successful dividend recapitalizations, clean audit opinions, and in the case of Peter Millar, an exit at multiples significantly above industry averages for both sales and EBITDA.  Kim has also worked successfully in both domestic and international corporate environments at Richemont North America (as COO), IWC Schaffhausen (CFO), The Body Shop (VP Finance, Real Estate, and IT), and Kodak (Corporate FP&A, Corporate Development) leading projects such as mitigating costs through implementation of zero-based budgeting, construction of large-scale (>150k sq ft) manufacturing and warehouse facilities, optimization of inbound and outbound parcel processing (including customs compliance), and maximization of working capital leverage through inventory management.     

Kim double majored in Accountancy and German at Wake Forest University graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa; she started her career in the audit team of Price Waterhouse LLP. Her language skills include English (mother tongue), German (fluent), and French (beginner).
