Softspikes the Victor at the Valspar as Winner Claims First Title Since 2023 Wearing PiVix

Brentwood, Tenn. –

The conclusion of play on Sunday at The Valspar Championship saw yet another PGA Tour champion stride to victory wearing Softspikes. On this occasion it was a long-overdue return to the winners’ circle for the 2023 FedEx Cup Champion from Norway, claiming a 7th PGA Tour title wearing PiViX spikes in his Nike Roshe golf shoes.

The win means it’s now 12 victories in the past 13 PGA Tour events for players wearing Softspikes. During the week a total of 86% of the field put spikes in play, with 31 of the top 35 finishers on Sunday evening trusting replaceable spikes over a spikeless alternative.

“Ahead of the golf season ramping up it was pleasing to see a generational talent return to the winners’ circle after a tough couple of years, and great to witness him do so wearing our PiViX spikes,” commented Joe Henderson, President, Softspikes.

Tour players change grips and traction regularly based on course conditions, but amateur golfers rarely think about the impact wearing spikes has on consistency and distance. To achieve optimal performance benefits, golfers should be switching up their spikes every 15 rounds.
